Chai and Chat is meant to be a safe, low pressure space to show up as you are, whether that means speaking, listening, or sitting quietly. There is no expectation to have the right words. Being in community itself is an act of care! This Chai and Chat will be facilitated by Ustadha Kaltun Karani. Facilitator Bio: Ustadha Kaltun Karani is a captivating speaker and thought leader at the intersection of Islamic studies and mental health. As founder of Hikma Academy, she delivers transformative teachings in tafsir and Islamic studies focused on spiritual growth and personal development. A pre-licensed mental health therapist, Kaltun authored the acclaimed workbook "Intentionally Rising: Lifestyle Design for the Conscious Muslim." Her impressive academic credentials include dual bachelor's degrees in Marketing and Islamic studies, a Master's of Education in Counseling, and a diploma in Islamic Psychology from Cambridge Muslim College. In recognition of her impactful work, Kaltun was awarded the prestigious Bush Leadership Fellowship in 2022.
