Chai and Chat is meant to be a safe, low pressure space to show up as you are, whether that means speaking, listening, or sitting quietly. There is no expectation to have the right words. Being in community itself is an act of care! This Chai and Chat will be facilitated by Seynab Hussein, MSW, LICSW, MSW, LICSW. Facilitator Bio: Seynab Hussein, MSW, LICSW, is a therapist and school social worker committed to supporting individuals, families, and communities on their journey toward healing, growth, and emotional wellness. Grounded in trauma-informed care, she works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating mental health challenges, emotional well-being, relationships, and life transitions. With an understanding of the importance of culture and community in healing, Seynab brings together professional training and lived experience to support individuals and families. She is passionate about creating safe, compassionate spaces where people feel seen, heard, and understood. Through her work, she supports individuals, especially women, in building resilience, strengthening emotional well-being, and developing meaningful tools for healing and growth.
